Multidisciplinary Artist.

Artist Statement.

As a multidisciplinary artist my work exists at the intersection of emotion, memory, and the passage of time. Through the mediums of painting, ceramics, textile work, and printmaking I explore themes of nostalgia, longing, and memory. My practice is driven by a deep desire to capture fleeting moments and the intangible feelings that define our experiences.

I began my artistic journey delving into oil painting, where I first learned to convey emotion through color, texture, and form. Over the years, my work has evolved, branching into ceramics, textile mixed media and printmaking, each medium offering a unique way to engage with the themes that move me. The tactile nature of clay, the precision of print, and the fluidity of paint allow me to express a range of emotions—some quiet and introspective, others bold and urgent.

In my art, I am not only revisiting personal memories but also reflecting on the universal human experience—the yearning for connection, the bitter sweetness of time passing, and the powerful emotions that linger long after moments have passed. My work invites the viewer to pause, to reflect, and perhaps to recall their own moments of longing and introspection.

Ultimately, my practice is about connection—between myself and the viewer, between past and present, and between the material and the emotional. It is through this exploration that I continue to find meaning and purpose in my work, hoping to evoke a shared emotional response in those who engage with it.
