My ceramic sculptures are tender, creature-like forms that straddle the line between human, nature, and dream. These figures hold presence through posture and texture- each one an invitation into quiet introspection, vulnerability, and a kind of playful melancholy. I work intuitively with clay, allowing gestures and surface marks to evolve organically. Burnished whites, smoky blacks, earthy tones and found wood elements all speak to themes of resilience, loneliness, and transformation. These figures often feel like companions- soft bodied protectors of inner worlds, shaped by both sorrow and wonder.
